| Noise Solution for Generators |
The use of power back-up generators is now becoming a fixed trend, whether for housing or for commercial establishments. Generators are everywhere, no wonder this device have happen to be one of the primary source of noise. People outdoors and those near these sources will deeply suffer, as many establishments have not prepared a special confinement outside for generators.
Further, people are being warned against too much noise. People are not aware that direct contact with power generators can cause deafness as it produce (100) one hundred decibels. Audiologists say that the longer you are exposed to anything louder than 70 decibels, the greater will be the eventual loss of hearing. The louder the sound is, the faster the damage to hearing.
This is perfectly a conflict since generators are in use during long hours. For this reason, a noise reducer, such as silencers were made released to markets to help lessen the noise exhibited from the generator.
A further suggested manner to reduce generator noise is to construct barrier walls around the generator which are prepared from concrete material around the generator. But because sound travels faster in solid, Impact Insulation Class Transmissions are recommended to lessen the vibrations coming from the generator which is mounted on the ground. Corks or balsa wood is also a good reducing agent of noise, as it absorbs the sound from the generator mounted on it. |
