Buying Coleman Generators

The Coleman Company was founded almost one hundred years ago by a man named W.C. Coleman. A very business minded individual, Mr. Coleman started manufacturing lanterns in Wichita, Texas. From there, the Coleman Company grew into on of the biggest manufacturers of outdoor equipments and would forever change the lives of people all over the world. According to history, Mr. Coleman innovated on the common lantern's design after finding out in a local drugstore that he could read better under their outdoor lamp. Being a person with very poor eyesight and an entrepreneurial spirit, he inquired about the lamp and started selling lamps to shops. He was not very successful at first but eventually he developed the “no light, no pay” clause and customers started signing up his contracts.

During the 1930's, Mr. Coleman employed several talented people including Sheldon, his son. With their knowledge in mechanical engineering and production experience, the company started delving into machine production and put up an industrial complex in Mississippi. This unwavering dedication helped the Coleman Company to be the successful venture it is today.
